Overview

Pasklinsky presents nationally and internationally on simulation education and debriefing. She is involved in global simulation work in Liberia and Changsha, China, where she is helping establish and develop a simulation curriculum and plans on how to structure a new simulation center.

She has served on university and college-wide committees to ensure curriculum integration with simulation and technology use. Pasklinsky received a Distinguished Clinical Faculty award from the Undergraduate Nursing Student Organization (UNSO) for dedication to teaching excellence, exceptional ability to lead and inspire, and enthusiasm about the learning process. She is a fellow of the prestigious New York Academy of Medicine.

In 2018, she received the Rose and George Doval Award for excellence in nursing education through creative and humanistic approaches. In 2021 she received the Champion of Humanistic Care Award from the Gold Foundation for courageous, compassionate, and steadfast care during COVID-19. Pasklinsky has served as Chair of the Governance Committee on the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is currently the co-chair of the awards committee.
