Awards 

Billy Caceres received a 2024 Early-Stage Investigator Award from the Academy of Behavioral Medicine Research (ABMR). This award is given annually to exceptional early-career scientists to support their participation in the annual ABMR meeting (to be held in Minneapolis, June 20-23, 2024), including a preconference leadership workshop. 

Jianfang Liu received the 2023 Best Paper Award from Research in Nursing & Health (RINAH) for “Using Machine Learning Methods to Predict In-Hospital Mortality Through the Elixhauser Index: A Medicare Data Analysis," on May 15, 2024.
