Dr. Elaine Larson to Moderate Webinar on Infection Control

Elaine Larson, RN, PhD, FAAN, CIC, Associate Dean for Research at the School of Nursing and long-time editor of the American Journal of Infection Control (AJIC), will moderate a webinar Dec. 14 on infection control problems in nursing homes. The webinar, hosted by the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), will feature experts discussing a recent paper published in AJIC, "Nursing home deficiency citations for infection control." Dr. Larson, who also serves as Professor of Pharmaceutical and Therapeutic Research at CUSON and Professor of Epidemiology at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, will introduce the webinar and talk about the journal's decision to publish the paper.
