Awards
Armel Dogruluk, DNP’19 received the Preceptor Gold Star Award from the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties on April 12, 2025. She was nominated for the award by Aluem Tark, PhD’19.
Tonda L. Hughes will receive the Kettil Bruun Society Award for Advancement of International Research Collaboration from the Kettil Bruun Society for Social and Epidemiological Research on Alcohol, to be presented at the society’s 50th Annual Symposium, June 9-13, 2025, in Glasgow, Scotland.
Other News
PhD student Brianna Lin presented her research on the U.S. nursing workforce in collaboration with nurse practitioner and PhD students at Yale School of Nursing at the University of Tokyo’s Spring International Program March 10-12, 2025. She also presented her current research and learned about the nursing workforce system in Japan and other countries around the world.
