Discovery is at the heart of Columbia Nursing. Faculty and students engage in discovering new knowledge and applying it to solve problems throughout the community and around the world. The school is consistently among the largest recipients of NIH funding on a per capita basis among nursing schools.
Doctoral students aspiring to learn more about nursing research have the opportunity to engage in research with experienced scientists on ongoing research projects. In addition, Columbia Nursing offers postdoctoral training programs for fellows.
