Recent DNSc Graduate, Jacqueline Merrill Awarded 2-Year Pfizer Fellowship

Jacqueline Merrill, a recent DNSc graduate, has just been awarded one of two, 2-year Pfizer fellowships for junior faculty researchers to do public health systems research--a strong recognition of her dissertation work and the expectation of her continuing leadership in the field. Through this fellowship, which begins July 1, 2006, she will extend her dissertation research on organizational network analysis and contribute to the work of the Public Health Informatics program as an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Biomedical Informatics. In this role, she will continue to collaborate with the Center for Public Health Policy and the Center for Evidence-based Practice in the Underserved on public health informatics issues.
