Marlene McHugh, DNP, assistant professor, was a co-author of “Integration of Palliative Care Advanced Practice Nurses Into Intensive Care Unit Team,” published in The American Journal of Hospital and Palliative Care.

Judy Honig, DNP, Dorothy M. Rogers Professor of Nursing, presented “Your Professional Journey: Aspire and Achieve” for the Hillman Alumni Nursing Network webinar.

 

Jeffrey Kwong, DNP, director, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program, presented  “Taking Care of Our Own: A Health Management Program for LGBT Older Adults at the 2016 National American Society on Aging National Conference; and "HIV, Aging, and Multimorbidity: Implications for Retention in Care," at the NYU and ACRIA: Annual HIV & Aging Conference.

Dianne LaPointe Rudow ’05 was elected secretary of the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network/United Network for Organ Sharing board of directors.

 

Wanda Montalvo ’15 is coordinating a practice improvement collaborative to improve LGBT primary care as part of her new role as associate director of the Weitzman Institute. 

 

Keville Frederickson Tomasson ’64 received the Pace University Scholarly Research Award for her work in London with Haitian immigrants.
