PhD student Olivia Velez accepted to American Medical Informatics Association Doctoral Consortium on Sociotechnical Issues in Medical Informatics

PhD student Olivia Velez has been accepted to the American Medical Informatics Association Doctoral Consortium on Sociotechnical Issues in Medical Informatics. During the consortium, Olivia will present her preliminary dissertation concept related to her informatics work in Ghana and receive feedback from a group of experts. Selection to the consortium is incredibly competitive and the consortium, through support from the National Science Foundation, supports her registration and travel expenses for the larger American Medical Informatics Association Meeting.
