Patricia Stone, PhD, MPH has been awarded $1.5 million for "Prevention of Nosocomial Infections and Cost-Effectiveness Analysis." This three year study, funded by NINR, will describe infection control department staffing and interventions implemented in ICUs across the nation. Members of the research team include collaborators from RAND, the CDC, JCAHO, as well as other faculty from Columbia, Harvard, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
