Nancy Reame, the Mary Dickey Lindsay Professor and Director of the PhD Program in Nursing has received an Advanced Education Nursing Grant from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The three-year $750,000 award will support the program development and implementation of a new PhD Program for Training Nurse Scientists in Interdisciplinary and Translational Research in the underserved (TRANSIT).

Other News from the PhD in Nursing Program:

* Sarah Collins (Sponsor Leanne Currie) is the first graduate of the PhD program in Nursing. After successfully defending her dissertation on the topic of "Informatics Methods to Understand Interdisciplinary Communication Related to Common Goals in the ICU," she will be a National Library of Medicine post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at CUMC.
