Eastern Nursing Research Society

The PhD TRANSIT Program was featured in a poster presented by PhD student Nowai Keleekai and co-authored by Elaine Larson, Suzanne Bakken, Nancy Reame and faculty from Hunter College.

The Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) held its 22nd annual scientific session on March 24 -26, 2010 in Providence, Rhode Island. School of Nursing professor, Patricia Stone, PhD delivered the plenary address, "Incorporating Economic Analyses into nursing Research: An Extension of Comparative Effectiveness Research." Arlene Smaldone, DNSc, Assistant Professor of Nursing was a member of the conference planning committee and is the treasurer of ENRS. Doctoral students Ann-Margaret Dunn-Navarra, CPNP, Rebecca Schnall, MPH, MBA, and Sharron Close, CPNP all presented posters and Ms. Close won second place for a doctoral student poster. Doctoral student Lorie Goshin, MS, was awarded second prize for her doctoral oral presentation. 

Faculty members Elizabeth Cohn, DNSc, Haomiao Jia, PhD, and Elaine Larson, PhD presented their findings on "The Development and Testing of an Observational Tool to Measure the Process and Quality of Informed Consent for Clinical Research."
