June 28, 2017 (New York, NY) -- Tishman Speyer today announced that it has reached an agreement with ColumbiaDoctors to provide clinical primary and wellness care as part of Zo, Tishman Speyer’s comprehensive services program for tenants at Rockefeller Center. ColumbiaDoctors Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Group, the faculty practice of Columbia University School of Nursing, will provide health care services in a designated Zo space at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, which will also feature other Zo wellness services.

The new health care offerings, scheduled to begin in July 2017, are the latest addition to Tishman Speyer’s groundbreaking work-life balance Zo initiative, which provides a comprehensive suite of amenities and services to its tenants, starting at Rockefeller Center. Partnering with leading service providers, Tishman Speyer’s Zo offers such amenities as backup child care, travel planning, community volunteer engagement, personal grooming, rideshares, human resources services, and food and catering services to companies of all sizes.

ColumbiaDoctors Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Group will provide onsite services five days per week with same-day appointments for primary and episodic-type heath care to the nearly 30,000 people employed at Rockefeller Center. Services available at the location will include onsite preventive care including inoculations, health screenings and tests, sick visits, chronic disease management, and minor injury treatment.

“We created Zo to improve the work-life balance for the 250,000 people who work in our buildings, and having a high-quality healthcare provider in such close proximity to the workplace makes it easier for people to get the care that they need, as soon as they need it, and return to their healthy lives,” said Michael P.M. Spies, Senior Managing Director, Tishman Speyer.

ColumbiaDoctors Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Group is the faculty practice of Columbia University School of Nursing, which is widely recognized as one of the nation’s top institutions and pioneers in the advancement and delivery of primary patient care. With offices throughout New York City, the Nurse Practitioner Group is a full-service primary care practice that offers a range of specialties including psychiatric mental health, LGBT-tailored care, women's and family health and, in some areas, house calls services.  At the new location at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, nurse practitioners will provide convenient access to care, diagnostic/treatment services, prescriptions, as well as referrals to other ColumbiaDoctors providers for ongoing and specialty care. All ColumbiaDoctors NPs are nationally board certified. Most major insurances are accepted.

"We look forward to providing access to high quality and evidence-based treatments in this new convenient location. Our onsite clinical faculty will incorporate health promotion and disease prevention into the visits and refer patients requiring additional services accordingly," said Stephen A. Ferrara, DNP, FNP, FAANP, Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs at Columbia University School of Nursing.

In addition to ColumbiaDoctors, a number of wellness activities and services also will be available for corporate tenants at the new location at 30 Rockefeller Plaza including yoga, meditation, massages, and grooming and beauty services.

Zo was introduced at Rockefeller Center earlier this year and will be expanded throughout Tishman Speyer’s global portfolio. The name Zo was originally inspired by the Greek word for life, zoe, and the concept of being “in the zone.”
