Columbia Nursing faculty and alumni well represented at NewYork-Presbyterian Research Conference on October 13

Columbia Nursing faculty and alumni will be well represented at the 2nd Annual NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Methodist Hospital Collaborative Nursing Research Symposium on October 13. Alumni Professor of Nursing & Professor of Medical Informatics Suzanne Bakken will give a key note address on "Translational Research." Anita Nirenberg '96 '09 will speak on "Oncology Nurses Use of NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines for Chemotherapy Induced Febrile Neutropenia" and Georgia Persky '10 will present "Creating a Profile of a Nurse Effective in Caring."
