The Nurse Anesthesia program is a 27-month, full-time, front-loaded program that includes a clinical anesthesia residency.
The post-RN DNP is a 3 year program that prepares registered nurses as advanced clinical practitioners within a specialty. Students learn to evaluate the health status of individuals and families, build interdependent relationships through the health care system, participate in and make use of research, and analyze issues that influence and contribute to the development of nursing.
The post-APRN DNP is a 2 year program that prepares nurse clinicians or advanced practice nurses as comprehensive care practitioners who provide fully accountable and continuous care to patients across settings and during transitions.
The PhD is a 3-4 year program that provides a strong foundation in nursing science and research methods, enabling graduates to conduct evidence-based research independently and as part of interdisciplinary teams. Students are mentored by faculty advisors as they move toward independent investigations.
